Check your ABLE eligibility. Voice or text, your choice.

An ABLE account lets you save money and keep your SSI and Medicaid. (ABLE stands for Achieving a Better Life Experience.) Some rules and limits apply. Two questions. About one minute. If you qualify, you can go straight to your state ABLE program's website to open your account.

Same two questions, no microphone needed.

ABLE's main rule is that your disability must have begun before age 46. Use the earliest age a doctor or school noticed it, and enter 0 if it began at birth.

2. Do you receive SSI or SSDI?

If you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), you already meet the disability standard, so no separate proof is needed.

Eligible
